Launch of Smart Blockchain
This year marked a significant development for the Ultima project: the entire ecosystem transitioned to a new scalable solution—SMART BLOCKCHAIN. It’s a versatile, flexible and scalable blockchain for various purposes. SMART is ideal for deploying decentralized applications.
The network operates on the Delegated Proof-of-Stake protocol. A key advantage of Smart Blockchain is its exceptionally high scalability. The blockchain can handle up to 2000 transactions per second, with an average block creation speed of 3 seconds. For comparison, the most popular blockchain in the DeFi space, Ethereum, creates new blocks every 15 seconds, processing less than 50 transactions per second.

Launch of DeFi-U is the Key Event of the Year
